General Utility Associate (GU)

Bountiful Bread is an old-world, artisan bakery first opened in Albany’s Stuyvesant Plaza in 1996. We bake a variety of breads every day which we distribute wholesale and retail. We also create sandwiches, soups, salads, and bowls, as well as cookies, cakes, and muffins. General Utility Associate (GU) Responsibilities:

• Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the cafe
• Prepare and maintain bathroom cleanliness 
• Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, composting
• Maintain dishwashing machine and small wares
• Perform daily cleaning of Back of House area
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all walk-in coolers 
• Help maintain dining room cleanliness during operating hours and at closing
• Perform dish washing as needed
• Perform daily and weekly detailed cleaning tasks
• Perform other tasks assigned by a manager
• Come to work with a positive attitude
• Be customer-focused, with a willingness to provide good customer service
