Be punctual and dependable
Serve as the face of the restaurant, greeting every guest with warmth and
enthusiasm at the start of their visit, and thanking them for their business as they
leave. Your goal is to make each guest feel welcome.
Learn to seat guests in such a way so that servers and kitchen staff can manage
their tables and order, and are not overwhelmed
Maintain seating chart to track seated tables, and communicate with servers
when they have been given a table.
Learn all menu items, and be able to discuss the preparation of dishes and drinks
Be a team player, and help other team members out when necessary.
