about log jam

Whether you’re visiting the Lake George – Saratoga region, or you live here year round, The Log Jam Restaurant takes pride both in the beauty of the Adirondacks and in providing you with superb food and accommodating hospitality in an authentic log cabin. If it weren’t for the aromas of sizzling steaks, you just might think you walked into an Adirondack logging camp of 100 years ago. A pot-belly stove warmly greets you at the front door, wood plank floors stretch beneath your feet, pine logs cut from the mountains above Lake George surround you, and three massive stone fireplaces provide the perfect romantic setting.

The Log Jam Restaurant is open daily, 363 days a year, for lunch and dinner. The mood is perfect for “Casual Adirondack Dining.” The dinner menu features expertly prepared seafood, prime rib, lamb chops, charbroiled steaks, fresh lobster, plus original chicken and pork entrees, and of course, the area’s most satisfying salad bar, featuring homemade salads, dressings and an array of fresh vegetables and our ever popular cinnamon raisin bread. For lunch – the restaurant is the perfect oasis during a day of shopping at 60 nearby factory outlets – you’ll find both traditional favorites and tasty innovations. Vegetarian? Special dietary needs? If the ingredients are available, the chef will be happy to accommodate your special requests. Locally owned and operated, we have been a part of the community for over 35 years.
