Butcher Block Steak & Seafood in Plattsburgh and its sister Log Jam Restaurant in Lake George are modifying their hours for the month of January 2021.
The Butcher Block will be open six days/week, Monday through Saturday, and closed on non-holiday Sundays during the month of January. The restaurant will remain open the
Sunday of Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend.
The Log Jam Restaurant in Lake George will be open four days/week, Thursday-Sunday, for the month of January. These modified hours take effect as of Friday, January 1st, 2021 and will remain in effect through Sunday, January 31st.
Brian White, President of White Management Corporation, the owner of both restaurants, explains his rationale for the schedule changes: “We are seeing some light at the end of the coronavirus tunnel, but we are not yet through. We want to continue to operate our restaurants in a smart and thoughtful way so we can continue to serve our guests and employ our staff. However, we recognize the impact coronavirus has had on the dining industry, and want to conserve where we can so we can get through to the other side.”
Butcher Block Steak & Seafood will continue to serve lunch and dinner from 11:30 AM Monday through Saturday. The Log Jam will serve lunch and dinner from 11:30 AM Thursday through Sunday. Both restaurants offer covid-safe dining in, as well as take-out options. Last month, each restaurant installed four portable Healthway Deluxe air purification units in each of their dining rooms, which capture and kill ultrafine air particles (including the novel coronavirus particles).
